Terms of service

SelitHub is a platform that lets sellers in Ghana create an online store and accept orders. We provide the software. We are not the seller of the goods listed on any store, and we do not own, inspect or hold stock.

You must be at least 18 years old to open a seller account. Keep your login details private — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Give accurate store, contact and payout information and keep it up to date.

As a seller you are responsible for the accuracy of your listings, the quality and legality of what you sell, honouring the prices you publish, delivering within the time you promise, and handling refunds and returns under your stated policy.

You must comply with Ghanaian law, including consumer protection rules and any licensing your trade requires (for example food handling or cosmetics).

You may not list: illegal drugs, weapons or ammunition, counterfeit goods, stolen property, live animals, prescription medicines, human remains or body parts, pornographic material, unregistered financial or investment products, or anything whose sale is restricted under Ghanaian law.

We may remove listings, suspend a store or close an account for breaches, with notice where reasonably possible.

A contract of sale is between the buyer and the seller, not with SelitHub. Payments may be made by mobile money (MoMo), debit or credit card, or bank payment where that option is available at checkout. Payment availability can depend on the buyer's network, bank, device, location and the payment provider.

Payment instructions are completed on the payment provider's secure flow. An order is not treated as paid until SelitHub receives a confirmed payment notification. A return to the store or a successful-looking payment screen alone does not guarantee that payment has settled. We may place an order on hold while a payment is being verified.

We may collect the seller's platform fee and any disclosed transaction charges from the order amount before the seller's balance becomes eligible for settlement. The checkout total, applicable fees, taxes and delivery charges are shown before the buyer confirms payment. Payment providers may also apply their own terms, limits, reversals or fees.

A failed, cancelled, expired, reversed or abandoned payment may leave an order unpaid or pending. Buyers should not make a second payment until they check the order status or contact support, because a delayed provider notification can arrive after the checkout screen closes.

Refunds are subject to the seller's policy, the reason for the refund, available payment provider channels and applicable law. Approved refunds are sent back through the original payment route where possible and may take additional time to appear in a MoMo wallet, bank account or card account. SelitHub does not guarantee the settlement time controlled by a bank, card issuer, mobile network or other payment provider.

Give correct delivery details and a phone number the seller can reach. Ordering creates a binding order once payment is confirmed, subject to the seller's returns policy and your rights under Ghanaian consumer law.

We provide the platform "as is". We are not liable for the acts of sellers or buyers, for goods that are faulty, late or not as described, or for losses caused by network, mobile money or delivery failures outside our control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You can close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or close an account for fraud, repeated customer complaints, unlawful listings or non-payment of amounts owed. Money properly due to you for completed orders will still be paid out.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute.

You keep ownership of content you upload, but give SelitHub permission to host, display, and resize it as needed to operate and promote your store. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use. SelitHub's name, software, and design remain our property.

Delivery arrangements are agreed between the buyer and seller and may use seller delivery, pickup, bus delivery or a third-party rider. A buyer should provide accurate contact and location details. Cancellations, refunds and returns are handled under the seller's published policy and SelitHub's baseline buyer protections.

You must have permission to use every photo, logo, product description and brand reference you upload. Brand names in SelitHub's catalogue help classify products and do not imply endorsement, affiliation or authenticity. We may remove content that infringes rights or misleads buyers.
