Prohibited products policy

Sellers must not list, promote, or complete transactions for products or services that are illegal, unsafe, deceptive, infringe another person's rights, or require a licence the seller does not have. A listing may be removed even when the item is legal in another country but not permitted in Ghana.

• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and unapproved medicines.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, military equipment, and instructions to make them.
• Stolen property, trafficking-related goods, counterfeit products, and fake documents.
• Products that infringe copyright, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property.
• Human remains, body parts, organs, blood, and endangered wildlife or protected species.
• Sexual exploitation, abuse, explicit sexual services, and content involving minors.
• Hateful, violent, fraudulent, or deceptive products, services, and promotional schemes.
• Unregistered financial, investment, lending, betting, or money-transfer products.
• Hazardous chemicals, toxic materials, recalled goods, and unsafe or tampered products.
• Live animals and products that breach animal-welfare, food-safety, or public-health rules.

Some goods may be listed only when the seller has the required registration, licence, labelling, age controls, delivery controls, or other legal approval. Examples include food, cosmetics, supplements, medical devices, alcohol, tobacco, agricultural chemicals, vehicle parts, and professional services. SelitHub may request evidence before allowing a restricted listing to go live.

Sellers are responsible for checking Ghanaian requirements and for following the rules in every location where they deliver. Approval of a listing does not confirm that it is legal, safe, authentic, or suitable for a particular buyer.

Do not misrepresent a product's brand, condition, origin, ingredients, size, availability, warranty, or price. Do not use another seller's photos or branding without permission. Do not ask buyers to move a payment off SelitHub to avoid platform safeguards.

Sellers must package and deliver products safely, provide required warnings, and recall or report a product if they learn it may harm a buyer. Buyers should not share passwords, PINs, or one-time codes with sellers or anyone claiming to represent SelitHub.

Report a suspicious listing through the listing's report action or contact us through theSelitHub contact page. Include the listing link and a short explanation. We may remove content, limit visibility, hold an order, request documents, suspend a store, restrict an account, or refer conduct to the appropriate authorities.

Enforcement considers the seriousness and history of the issue. Sellers may contact support if they believe a decision was made in error, but a review does not guarantee reinstatement.
